The Waymarkers

£150.00

A2 giclee print of The Waymarkers, an archival quality reproduction of the original Unison pastel drawing

The Waymarkers is the lead image in one of three darwings in a series titled: The Waymarkers.

A new collection of pastel drawings featuring remote, North East landscapes where Frances has walked with, and worked alongside, communities. The Waymarkers connect us with the past, with people's movement through landscapes, whilst rooting us firmly in the present. The collection affirms nature’s power and our capacity to live with and be shaped by our environment.

The Waymarkers depicts a series of guiding poles amongst the tidal mud flats ofThe Pilgrim’s Way, part of the walk from Beal to Holy Island which I completed with family and friends. Staying true to Northumberland, I created each original drawing using Unison soft pastels at DRAW Studio. And my giclee prints are no exception, scanned and printed in Tyneside by industry leading experts.

Each original pastel drawing is reproduced as a colour-perfect, archival-quality print on Hanhemuhle paper to ensure an exceptional finish
