Fold I is one of pair of screenprints in which white, geometric lines combine with textured, block colour to convey a sense of an image in constant flux.
The Fold series sit well alongside the two Attic prints. Both Fold and Attic explore the contrast between block colour and fine line, all arranged to alter our sense of perspective.
Fold takes this to the next level by creating more intricate geometric forms, which collapse and re-appear as the eye rests on the image, and layering multiple colours with a patel-like, hand drawn quality.
Printed as an edition of 7 on 250g Somerset White with deckle edges. Signed, numbered, titled and dated on the front in pencil.
