What a year it’s been!

From Weardale to Wheelbirks, Shildon to Lowick & Northumberland to Newcastle; 2025 has been jam packed with creativity, community and countryside

I’ve worked with talented teams, met creative people all over the North East, and joined forces with communities making a big impact in their local area

I’ve sketched outdoors in all weathers, received a grant to develop my practice further, and taught creative workshops immersed in Northumberland’s landscape. Packed cards for customers and collaborated with inspirational artists

I’ve celebrated the changing seasons in community halls and show fields, run around parks chasing interviewees, travelled across vast open countryside under big skies and sprinkled a little magic in a school playground

I’ve supported artists to reach for their goals and arts organisations to thrive. Celebrated little wins and big funding news. Watched seeds I helped to sow grow big and beautiful, and built epic stages for wonderous encounters
