5 places across York and the North East have curated and are hosting a stop on the York & North East Imagination Tour with Rob Hopkins.
The tour enables community builders engaged with place-based working to host events with community & faith leaders, creatives, public sector professionals and local change makers in the hyper-local context in which they live and work, and so that seeds of the tour can be nourished, and momentum carried forward.
The tour is supported by Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
As Tour Producer, I lead the planning and delivery of a region wide programme of imaginative, participatory events, facilitated by Rob Hopkins and delivered in partnership with 5 place Producers
My role sits at the centre of a creative, multi-location project spanning York and the North East, working closely with Rob Hopkins, the Emerging Futures Regional Team, local partners, artists and communities.
I manage tour logistics and delivery, ensuring that all moving parts are woven together with clarity and care, working closely with the Project Manager and York Local Lead. I am responsible for coordination with Rob Hopkins, local partners, artists, venues and audiences to deliver the tour. I provide support to place Producers and act as the central point of contact. I manage programme developmet, ensuring events are alighted within the tour’s aims. I oversee the tour evaluation and support with branding & PR, including woking closely with a film crew. I maintain clear documentation of delivery and take part in tour evaluation.
