Creative Producer

Borderlands (Teesside University)

I led the creative programme for Borderlands as Creative Producer (2023-2024) across of range of art forms, providing arts and cultural expertise, guidance and inspiration to communities, partners and colleagues across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland (South Tees).

I facilitated the development and realisation of artistic ideas and ambitions of people in South Tees through a wide portfolio of projects and events.

I was responsible for developing the creative programme strategy, manging the progamme budget and timeline, testing & reviewing approaches to arts participation, identifying and managing resources, and integrating project management within Teesside University, the host organisation. I led commissioning of creative teams and freelance Producers, wrote contracts and managed project teams, managed staff, and supported the Director in advocacy, networking, fundraising and reporting
